This year the spring musical is our 8th in Saipan International School, on May 14th, people will go to the Fiest Hotel after school. Whole school mumbers will participate as usual. Dancing and singing is the main way to perform. Usually students prepare performs two month before. The main idea for the songs students using, these are from 80s artists ABBA. “ABBA was a Swedish pop music group formed in Stockholm in 1972, consisting of Anni-Frid Lyngstad (Frida), Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Fältskog (Anna).” (Wikipedia) Most of songs we are use for this spring musical from the famous movie Mamma Mia. Such as 10th grade “Mamma Mia” and 11th grade song “lay on your love on me” and also “take a chance on me” for 9th grade. Our senior will perform the Spanish song “Chiquitita”. In the end of the show, the whole school will sing the song “Thank you for the music” together, and goes to ending.
School also welcomes parents to join the spring musical. Taking video for the students can be a way to keep our spring musical memory nicely. We really prescient everyone can enjoy the musical this every year.
